A perfectly formed double terminated Amethyst Elestial quartz crystal from Bahia, Brazil with a multilayered, finely etched surface texture. Elestial Quartz, sometimes called crocodile quartz, or skeletal quartz, is named for its complex crystalized patterns. The multi-layered crystals are etched with intricate geometric patterns caused by unstable conditions during their formation, often undergoing multiple stages of growth.
